My recent stay at Pension Hirlatz in Hallstatt far exceeded my culinary critic expectations. the staff, led by the delightful Gabrielle, went above and beyond to ensure a warm and welcoming environment. the cozy bedroom allowed me to wake up to breathtaking mountain views, immersing me in the natural beauty of the surroundings. the buffet breakfast, with a personal touch of cooked-to-order eggs, was a highlight, offering a delightful start to each day. the serene location, slightly removed from the city center, provided a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to nearby attractions, such as the salt mine. the meticulous cleanliness throughout the hotel, paired with the attentive service and homely ambiance, truly made me feel like a welcomed guest in a family-run haven. I wholeheartedly recommend Pension Hirlatz for its exceptional quality and genuine Austrian hospitality.
